Description
One-package acrylic-urethane enamel, cured by air-moisture.

Destination and fields of applications
Anticorrosion protection of steel and concrete constructions, used in all atmospheric environments according to ISO 12944-5:2007. POLITON-UR coating is water, oil and petrochemical resistant.
Is used in complex coating systems as:
- intermediate coats;
- a top coat in the absence of intensive effect of solar radiation.
Is recommended for using in coating systems with zinc rich primers ZINOTAN, ZINEP, ZFES, as well as other primers on polyurethane, epoxy and ethyl silicate bases.
Top coat - POLITON-AK and other enamels on acryl and acryl-urethane bases.
Certification, testing
The sanitary-and-epidemiologic finding ¹ 66.01.10.231.Ï.002092.09.02 dated 09.09.2002.
The enamel meets the construction regulations and rules 2.03.11-85.
Recommendations are given by The group of companies «Transstroy», The Public Corporation Oil Company «Transneft» and The trust «Gidromontazh».

Reccomended condition of the painted surface
The undercoat should be cleaned of dirt, degreased and free from dust.
Application method
- the enamel base is to be thoroughly shuffled up to homogeneous state before using;
- if necessary it is to be diluted by solvent to operating viscosity directly before coating.
- the enamel is to be applied in plant and field environment at temperature from - 15 °Ñ to +40 °Ñ and relative air humidity from 30 % to 98 %.
It is possible to use the enamel together with drying accelerator for polyurethane coatings in plant environment at relative air humidity 30 % for reducing drying time (in 2,5 times) when it is coordinated with technologists of Fine Metal Powders Co.
Cure time of the undercoat before applying the enamel POLITON-UR at temperature (20.2) °Ñ and relative air humidity 65 % is for:
- coating ZINOTAN – not less than 4 hours (if related humidity decreases, cure time of the coating increases);
- coating ZINEP – not less than 12 hours;
- coating ZVES – not less than 6 hours.
Cure time of the coating POLITON-UR before applying finishing layers is not less than 24 hours.

Packaging and storage
POLITON-UR (UF) enamel is packed in 22 kg. and 3,5 kg. metal drums, 1,2 kg. metal cans.
Storage conditions: the product is to be stored in an enclosed warehouse at environment temperature from -40˚C till +40˚C. While storage the container with the enamel isn’t to be subjected to precipitation and direct sun rays effect.
Warranty period of the enamel in the manufacturer’s hermetically covered container is 12 months from the enamel due date.
