PULAK 1166 varnish is a one-package material cured by
the air moisture.
PULAK 1166 varnish (Hereinafter referred to as "PULAK") is used as:
chemically -resistant layers in the systems of anticorrosion coatings,
used in industrial enterprises atmosphere, in the solutions of salt,
acids and alkali, as well as in petroleum and petroleum products;
an independent anticorrosion coating.
It is recommended to use PULAK as a finishing layer in the systems
of anticorrosion protection with ZINOTAN
composition and ZINEP primer, as well as
with other urethane and epoxy primers.
Protected objects are: building and industrial metal structures
of construction steel, equipment etc.
The coating is transparent, glossy with yellowish shade.
PULAK varnish is applied at the plant or in the field at the temperature
from -15°С up to +40°С and relative humidity from 30 to 98%. The
varnish is cured by air moisture. It is necessary to prevent the
varnish from long contact with the air.
The varnish is applied to the primed surface, which must be dry
and clean.
When using the varnish as an independent anticorrosion coating it
is necessary to degrease the surface of the metal, to clean it from
rust, scale and exfoliating old paint.
Application methods: pneumatic and airless spraying, a brush, a
roller, dipping.
