Description
Two-package acrylic-urethane enamel, consisting of base and curing agent, with biocide for mildew and fungi protection. |

Destination and fields of applications
Anticorrosion protection of metalwork, used in all atmospheric environments according to ISO 12944-5:2007. Coating has high decorative qualities, ultraviolet radiation resistant.
Is used in complex protection systems as a decorative top coat upon coatings POLITON-UR, ZINOTAN, FERROTAN, ZINEP, ISOLEP-mio.

The sanitary-and-epidemiologic finding ¹ 66.01.40.231.Ï.001843.06.07 dated 13.06.2007.
Recommendations are given by The group of companies «Transstroy» and The Public Corporation Oil Company «Transneft».

Reccomended condition of the painted surface
The undercoat should be cleaned of dirt, degreased and free from dust.
Application method
- The enamel base is to be thoroughly shuffled up to homogeneous state before using;
- While constant shuffling, curing agent is to be entirely injected into the base;
- The enamel with added curing agent is to be used up in 7 hours;
- If necessary it is to be diluted by solvent to operating viscosity.
The enamel is to be applied in 1-2 layers. Intermediate drying before coating at temperature +20 °Ñ – not less than 6 hours.
The enamel is to be applied in plant and field environment at temperature from +10 °Ñ to +40 °Ñ and relative air humidity not more than 75 %.
Cure time of the undercoats ZINOTAN, ZINEP, FERROTAN, POLITON-UR, ISOLEP-mio at temperature (20±2) °Ñ and relative air humidity 65 % is not less than 24 hours.

Packaging and storage
POLITON-UR (UF) enamel is packed: base – in metal drums or cans, curing agent – in metal drums or cans.
Storage conditions: the base is to be stored in an enclosed warehouse at environment temperature from -40˚C till +40˚C. Curing agent is to be stored at environment temperature from +5˚C till +30˚C. The enamel is to be stored in hermetically packed container of the manufacturer far from heat source. The container with the enamel isn’t to be subjected to precipitation and direct sun rays effect.
Warranty period of the enamel in the manufacturer’s hermetically covered container is 12 months from the enamel due date.
