Description

One-package anticorrosion composition based on silicone organic thermal resistant varnish and fine zinc powder.

Destination and fields of applications

Anticorrosion protection of metal articles and constructions, used at temperature up to 350 °Ñ (for a short time up to 400 °Ñ) in all atmospheric environments according to ISO 12944-5:2007.
Is used independently and as a primer for anticorrosion complex protective systems with over coating by the composition ALUMOTERM and also in systems with over coating by other heat resistant coating materials.

Reccomended condition of the painted surface

  • Oils, lubricants and other adipose matters as well as moisture and dust are to be removed from the metal surface;
  • Thoroughly remove cinder, rust and old paints traces by means of jet- rubbing method to 2 Sa 2,5 or Sa 2 according to ISO 8501-1:1988;
  • Remove dust.

Application method

  • The composition is to be thoroughly shuffled up to homogeneous state before using;
  • If necessary it is to be diluted by solvent to operating viscosity before applying;
  • The composition can be applied in plant and field environment at temperature from -15 °Ñ to +40 °Ñ and relative air humidity till 85 %.
When applying multiple coatings, every next layer is to be applied after drying up of the previous one to «tackiness» (when after light finger pressing of the coating, there are no print and sense of adhesiveness on the coating).
Drying up of the coating ZINOTERM before applying the composition ALUMOTERMis 2 hours. Applying the composition ALUMOTERM on the coating ZINOTERM is allowed after complete drying up of the undercoat to “touch-dry” state. Drying time after which other finishing materials can be applied is 24 hours.
Coating is hardening finally at temperature 150 °Ñ during 3 hours.

Cleaning of the equipment SOLV-UR, aromatics (xylene, Solvesso 100) are used for rinsing painting equipment.


Packaging and storage

The composition is packed in 1 kilogram metal cans and 25 kilograms metal piles.
Storage conditions: the composition is to be stored in an enclosed warehouse at environment temperature from -40˚C till +40˚C. The container with the composition isn’t to be subjected to precipitation and direct sun rays effect.
Warranty period of the composition in the manufacturer’s hermetically covered container is 6 months from the composition due date.
