ZINOL-SV is zinc-rich, one-package paint for anticorrosion protection
of steel. The coating is anodic to steel and provides cathode protection,
which is similar to that of zinc metal coatings.
ZINOL-SV is designed for anti-corrosion protection of steel products
and structures, which are used: in weather conditions of all macro-climate
regions, types and categories of placement.
ZINOL-SV is recommended for application under contact welding of
metal structures of carriages. ZINOL-SV composition is used as:
independent coating for anticorrosion protection of metal structures;
primer under coating material in complex systems of anticorrosion
protection;
to maintain zinc metal coatings.
Enamel POLYTONE-AK can be used
as a coating material in complex systems of anticorrosion protection
as well as acrylic, chloride-rubber and pentaphthaline enamels.
ZINOL-SV coating is not stable in petrol and a number of organic
solvents. ZINOL-SV composition is applied at the plant or in the
field at the temperature from -15°С up to +40°С and relative humidity
not more than 90%.
Steel surface preparation before applying anticorrosion composition
includes degreasing, removing oxides to Sa 2,5 to ISO 8501-1:1988.
It is allowed to apply paint to the surface with remaining firmly
bonded scale and rust. It is allowed to apply anticorrosion paint
on the smooth surface (after degreasing).
Application methods: pneumatic and airless spraying, a brush,
a roller.
ZINOL-SV coating
is maintainable.
welding of steel with a single layer of ZINOL coating with thickness
up to 30 µm does not affect the quality of weld.
