Description
One-package composition is suspension of fine zinc powder in high-molecular thermoplastic polymer solution.

Destination and fields of applications
Anticorrosion protection of steel articles and constructions, used in all atmospheric environments according to ISO 12944-5:2007. The coating is firm in sea and fresh water, in solutions of salts of acids (ðÍ= 6, 0 - 9, 0), in spirit and water solution. When used in complex coating with the composition ALPOL it can be used in fresh cold drinking water supply system.
Isn’t firm in petrol and some organic solvents.
The composition quality ZINOL is used:
- as an independent coating;
- as the primer under coating materials in complex protective systems;
- for hot-dip galvanizing repair.
Is recommended for using in coating systems with the alumo-rich composition ALPOL (ÒÓ 2313-014-12288779-99), as well as other acryl, chlorinated rubber, alkyd and other enamels.

Power engineering:Recommendations are given by Interdepartmental committee of Federal Network Company of UniformEelectrical Supply Network.
Transporting engineering: technological guidings for exploited railway bridges coating given by Communication Lines Ministry.
Findings are given by A. N. Severtsov Institute of Ecology and Evolution, Russian-Vietnam Research and Technology center, Central Research and Project Institute of Building Constructions, All-Russian Research Institute for Construction and Operation of Pipelines, Research Institute for Reinforced Concrete, State Unitary Enterprise – Research Center for Testing and Refining Automotive Vehicles.

Surface preparation
- Oils, lubricants and other adipose matters as well as moisture and dust are to be removed from the sized metal surface;
- Thoroughly remove mill scale, rust and old paints traces to Sa 2,5 or Sa 2 is allowed according to ISO 8501-1: 1988.;
- Remove dust.
Mechanical and manual cleaning of the surface to St 3 or St 2 according to ISO 8501-1:1988, loosing rust is to be removed.
Application method
- The composition is to be thoroughly shuffled up to homogeneous state before using;
- If necessary it is to be diluted by solvent to operating viscosity before applying;
- The composition can be applied in plant and field environment at temperature from -15 °Ñ to +40 °Ñ and relative air humidity 90 %.
When applying multiple coatings, every next layer is to be applied after drying up of the previous one to «tackiness» (when after light finger pressing of the coating, there are no print and sense of adhesiveness on the coating).
The period after which the coating materials are to be applied is 24 hours; the composition ALPOL and the enamelPOLITON-AK are to be applied after 2 hours.
Drying up of the coating is natural. The complete cure time of the coating before using in flow media is not less than 7 days, before packing and transportation – 24 hours.

Packaging and storage
The composition ZINOL is packed in 1.1 kilogram metal cans and 25 and 7,5 kilograms metal piles.
Storage conditions: the composition is to be stored in an enclosed warehouse at environment temperature from -40˚C till +40˚C. The container with the composition isn’t to be subjected to precipitation and direct sun rays effect.
When stored in the conditions of minus temperatures, it is necessary to store the composition in a warm house during 24 hours.
Warranty period of the composition in the manufacturer’s hermetically covered container is 12 months from the composition due date.
