Description
The primer is two-package system consisting of base and polyamide curing agent with mass ration of components 100:5 respectively. The base is suspension of zinc powder and functional additives in epoxy resin solution in organic solvents mixture. Cure agent is polyamid resin solution in organic solvents.

Destination and fields of applications
Anticorrosion protection of steel articles and constructions, used in all atmospheric environments according to ISO 12944-5:2007. The primer is firm in sea and fresh water, in solutions of salts of acids (pH 5-9), in petroleum and petroleum products.
Is used as:
- the primer under coating materials in complex coating systems;
- independent coating.
Is recommended for using in coating systems with the composition ALUMOTAN, enamels IZOLEP and ISOLEP-mio, POLITON-UR and POLITON-UR (UF), as well as other epoxy, polyurethane, chlorvinyl and copolymer-vinyl chloride coatings.

Surface preparation
- Oils, lubricants and other adipose matters as well as moisture and dust are to be removed from the sized surface;
- Thoroughly remove cinder and rust to Sa 2,5 or Sa 2 according to ISO 8501-1: 1988. Mechanical and manual cleaning to St 3 or St 2 according to ISO 8501-1:1988 is allowed;
- Remove dust.
Application method
- The base of the primer is to be thoroughly shuffled up to homogeneous state before using;
- While constant shuffling, curing agent of the primer is to be entirely injected into the base by mass rate 5:100 respectively;
- Keep for 30 minutes;
- Before using the primer is to be thoroughly shuffled to homogeneous state;
- If it is necessary, dilute the enamel by solvent to operating viscosity directly before laying;
- The primer is to be applied in plant and field environment at temperature from + 10 °Ñ to +40 °Ñ and relative air humidity not more than 85 %.
Cure time before applying the coating materials is 24 hours, the enamels ISOLEP and ISOLEP-mio are allowed to be applied after 12 hours. Cure time of the coating before applying in hostile environment is 7 days.

Packaging and storage
The primer is shipped as complete units in metal cans and pails (set mass is 2, 5 and 25 kilograms).
Storage conditions: the product is to be stored in an enclosed warehouse at environment temperature from -40˚C till +40˚C. While storage the container with the primer isn’t to be subjected to precipitation and direct sun rays effect.
Warranty period of the primer, determined by storage period of the primer base in the manufacturer’s hermetically covered container is 12 months from the primer due date.
