Description

One-package composition based on organosilicon high-temperature varnish and aluminum powder.

Destination and fields of applications

Anticorrosion protection of metal articles and constructions, acting for a long period of time at temperature up to 350 °Ñ (for a short-term up to 400 °Ñ) in all atmospheric environments according to ISO 12944-5:2007.
Is used in complex protection systems as a top coat upon coatings ZINOTERM.

Reccomended condition of the painted surface

The undercoat should be cleaned of dust and dirt, degreased with water based detergents (solvents are not applied) and dried up.

Application method

  • The composition is to be thoroughly shuffled up to homogeneous state before using;
  • If necessary it is to be diluted by solvent to operating viscosity.
  • The composition can be applied in plant and field environment at temperature from -15 °Ñ to +40 °Ñ and relative air humidity 85 %.
The composition ALUMOTERM is to be applied in 1-2 layers, with total thickness not more than 30 micron, on the coating ZINOTERM after it’s dried up to “pull-of” state. Exceeding nominal thickness of the coating may lead to decrease of heat-resistant behavior of the coating.
Drying up of the coating is natural. Final composition of the coating is in the issue of thermo- cure at the initial stage of the articles using (heating is at temperature 150 °Ñ during 3 hours).

Cleaning of the equipment SOLV-UR, aromatics (xylene, Solvesso 100) are used for rinsing painting equipment.

Packaging and storage

The composition is packed in 1 kilogram metal cans and 10 kilograms metal pails.
Storage conditions: the composition is to be stored in an enclosed warehouse at environment temperature from -40˚C till +40˚C. The container with the composition isn’t to be subjected to precipitation and direct sun rays effect.
Warranty period of the composition in the manufacturer’s hermetically covered container is 12 months from the composition due date.
